“At the Cross” is a song by Jonathan Bryce, Brian Campbell & Tori Harris. Tori brought some lines into Jonathan’s study asking for help with the song. The lines were about pleading with Christ to sanctify us with a small melodic idea that Tori had been working with. After some time spent discussing the importance of the process of sanctification and man’s dire need for it, they came up with the title and chorus as you hear it in this video. Later, while working with Brian, Tori brought out the song and they polished up a bridge section to really round out the song.
